Category:Experimental cat breeds

This category is for breeds of domestic cat that are new and still in development, with little to no recognition by major cat fancier and breeder organizations. Most such breeds are non-notable. Any article appearing here without multiple, independent reliable sources and without recognition by at least one international or multiple national cat fancy/pedigree groups is likely a good candidate for WP:PROD or WP:AFD, especially if the article appears to promote a specific cattery or is otherwise WP:SPAMmy or has obvious WP:Notability problems.

If the breed is recognized by two or more international registries, or recognized by three or more national ones, or at least 15 years old and recognized by one international one, it no longer needs to be listed here and can be presumed stable and notable.

Any breed recognized by one or more of these organizations as "Experimental", "New", "Provisional", or a similar limited-acceptance designation belongs in this category.
