Schools administered under the Aga Khan Education Services (AKES) unit of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). AKES operates more than 300 schools internationally, in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Uganda, Tanzania and Tajikistan. Schools are also envisaged, or under development, in Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Madagascar, Mali, Mozambique and Syria.
