Brian Mathew is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Melksham and Devizes since 2024.

A member of the Liberal Democrats, he was elected to Parliament at the 2024 general election.[1] He defeated former Conservative minister Michelle Donelan, who had chosen to contest this seat in view of boundary changes at her Chippenham seat.[2]

Career

Mathew previously served as a local councillor and worked for aid organisations including WaterAid in Tanzania.[3]
