Belgium–Sweden relations are the bilateral relations between Belgium and Sweden. Belgium has an embassy in Stockholm and Sweden has an embassy in Brussels. The relations between both countries are defined mainly by their membership in the European Union and by being allies in NATO, as well as belonging to numerous international organizations, which makes their relations have ample development in the framework of them.
In 1934, the Swedish-Belgian association was established, the purpose of which is to promote and develop the ties of sympathy between the countries, as well as the commercial and economic relations between them[1]. About 8,000 Belgians live in Sweden and about 5,000 Swedes live in Belgium.
