Béatrice Bellay (born July 25, 1975) is a French politician of the Socialist Federation of Martinique. She was elected member of the National Assembly for Martinique's 3rd constituency in 2024.[1]

Early life and career

Bellay was born in Villepinte, Seine-Saint-Denis, to Martinican parents. She studied law and management in Paris and moved to Martinique at the age of 24.[2] She was a candidate for the European Parliament in 2019,[3] for president of the Executive Council of Martinique in 2021,[4] and for Martinique's 1st constituency in 2022.[5] She has served as leader of the Fédération socialiste de la Martinique since 2018,[6] and has been director of population services of the communauté d'agglomération de l'Espace Sud de la Martinique since 2019.[7]
