Parasites

In Korea, Austropeplea ollula serves as a first and main intermediate host for the trematode species Echinostoma cinetorchis from the family Echinostomatidae.[2]

Austropeplea ollula also serves as first intermediate host for the fluke Neodiplostomum seoulense in Korea.[3]
