Anton Silayev (Russian: Антон Силаев; born 11 April 2006) is a Russian professional ice hockey player for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was drafted tenth overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2024 NHL entry draft.

Playing career

Playing in the Russian Junior Hockey League (MHL) during the 2022–23 season, Silayev recorded eight points in 41 games, playing in first and second pair roles for championship-winning Chaika Nizhny Novgorod [ru].[1][2]

In 63 games for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) during the 2023–24 season, Silayev scored 11 points, the most of any under-18 player in KHL history, in addition to recording 74 blocked shots and 98 hits. Following the season, he was drafted tenth overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2024 NHL entry draft.[3]
