Anita Mehsud

Anita Mehsud (Urdu: انیتا محسود) is a Pakistani politician who is a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from 2018 to 2023, having been elected through the reserved quota for women as a candidate of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.[1][2]

Career

Anita Mehsud, hails from the tribal district of South Waziristan. South Waziristan, part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) before its merger with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2018, had no representation in the provincial assembly prior to this merger[3][4][5]
