Alain Cotta is a French economist born on February 16, 1934. Professor at HEC Paris and at the Paris Dauphine University, he is an author of a large number of economic books.
Biography
Son of Jacques Cotta, criminal lawyer and SFIO mayor of Nice after liberation (from 1945 to 1947) and Hélène Scoffier (lawyer). Alain Cotta is the brother of journalist Michèle Cotta, half-brother of journalist and filmmaker Jacques Cotta and lawyer Françoise Cotta.[1]
A graduate of the HEC Paris, associate of law and economic sciences, he began his career at the University of Caen, which he attended in 1960 and then in 1968 he participated in the creation of the Paris Dauphine University.[2] He took the head of the "Sciences of Organizations" department until 1975. He ensured the direction of CREPA from 1971. He directed the DEA 101 "general policy of organizations" until 2002. The DEA 101 has become the Master 2 101 "General policy of organizations".
It has had a monthly broadcast on Radio Courtoisie from mid-2011 to mid-2013.
He is a member of the Trilateral Commission and of Le Siècle.
He is campaigning for an exit from France from the euro.[3]
