Local elections will be held in the province of Batangas on May 12, 2025, as part of the 2025 general election. Voters will select candidates for all local positions: a town mayor, vice mayor and town councilors, as well as members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and for the six districts of Batangas.

Gubernatorial election

Incumbent Hermilando Mandanas who was elected in 2016 is now on his third consecutive and sixth non-consecutive term as governor of Batangas and is ineligible for reelection. Among those who announced their intention for the governorship is incumbent Mataasnakahoy Vice Mayor Jay Ilagan, after his reelection in 2022.

  • Michael Angelo Rivera, former 1-CARE Party-list Representative (2010–2016), former mayor of Padre Garcia, Batangas (2016–2019)[2]

  • Mark Leviste, vice governor of Batangas (2007–2016; 2019–present) (not yet decided)
  • Vilma Santos-Recto, former representative of the 6th District of Batangas (2016–2022), former governor of Batangas (2007–2016), former mayor of Lipa, Batangas (1998–2007), actress (not yet decided since her husband Ralph Recto has endorsed former congressman Michael Angelo Rivera)

Vice gubernatorial election

Mark Leviste is on his second and fifth non-consecutive term and is eligible for a third and sixth non-consecutive term. However, he is still undecided on his plans for 2025. Leviste served as vice governor from 2007 to 2016 and again, since 2019. Leviste previously ran for governor in 2016, but lost to Mandanas.

1st District

Incumbent Roman Rosales Jr. is term-limited. Incumbent Armie Bausas is eligible for a second-term.

2nd District

Incumbents Wilson Leandro Rivera and Arlina Magboo are now term-limited.

3rd District

Incumbents Alfredo Corona and Rodolfo Balba are eligible for re-election.

4th District

Incumbents Jonas Patrick Gozos and Jesus De Veyra are now term-limited.

Batangas City, Calaca, Lipa, Santo Tomas, and Tanauan will all elect a mayor and a vice-mayor this election. The candidates for mayor and vice mayor with the highest number of votes wins the seat; they are voted separately, therefore, they may be of different parties when elected.
