The 2024–25 National Cricket League Twenty20 (Bengali: ন্যাশনাল ক্রিকেট লীগ) tournament in Bangladesh (abbreviated as NCL T20 2024–25), will be playing in first week in December 2024,[1] that is the second edition of a Twenty20 league involving the teams in the National Cricket League (NCL). The tournament was initiated by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It included Eight teams representing the seven divisions of Bangladesh and one Metropolitan area of Dhaka. The previous tournament was won by the Rajshahi Division team called Rajshahi Rangers who defeated the Khulna Division called Kings of Khulna by 6 wickets in the final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
The need for a change in Bangladesh's T20 fortunes had eventually spurred Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to make a move, and discussions have gone ahead for Bangladesh's newest T20 league for local players following yesterday's meeting between BCB's Tournament Committee and Technical Committee.[2]
