The 1982 Alcorn State Braves football team represented Alcorn State University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1983 NCAA Division I-AA football season. Led by 20th-year head coach Marino Casem, the Braves compiled an overall record of 7–3, with a conference record of 4–3, and finished fifth in the SWAC.
