The 1971 British Speedway Championship was the 11th edition of the British Speedway Championship.[1] The final took place on 16 June at Brandon Stadium in Coventry, England. The Championship was won by Ivan Mauger.[2][3]

The British Under 21 Championship was won by Ian Turner.[4][5]
