Notice

The article Simo Life has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Articles whose subjects fail to meet the relevant notability guideline

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 41.141.102.39 (talk) 11:36, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of EKIALIS

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on EKIALIS, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Speedy deletion comments on Talk:EKIALIS

Hello, Adil Faouzi,

It's better to address your concerns about a speedy deletion tagging and deletion on the User talk page of the editor who tagged it or the admin who deleted the page. Creating a Talk page where there is no article will result in its deletion as an orphaned talk page, CSD G8. You might want to move the content you placed on it before it is deleted.

If you have questions about editing on Wikipedia or its deletion processes, I recommend bringing them to the Teahouse where more experienced editors can offer you advice and support. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 22:31, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,
I am writing to contest the proposed speedy deletion of the EKIALIS article under section G11.minus Removed Thank you for considering my appeal. Adil Faouzi (talk) 08:44, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Adil Faouzi, this is not the place to contest the speedy deletion of an article. I suggest you first contact the deleting admin, Jimfbleak, and if you're still unsatisfied, use WP:DRV. If, however, you persist in being disruptive, you risk being blocked.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:13, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for message. Note that the standards for company articles are higher here than on fr-wiki, and what is acceptable there may not be here. I see that the article was tagged with a request to protect to prevent further recreation, as non-notable and as an orphan.

If you have any conflict of interest, you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at Adil Faouzi. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Adil Faouzi|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. Also read the following regarding writing an article:

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • Although much of your text has references, many appear to be reviews, social media, like LinkedIn, or interviews with people closely associated with the product, like Pescarmona.
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • it's all about what the company sells, little about the company itself other than its location. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the number of employees, management structure turnover or profits.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • The claim announced an 18% increase in turnover. is unsourced and undefined, the claim In 2016, EKIALIS completed a capital increase fundraising round I can't see in the press release that you give as a source and again has no figures. Claims like software is designed to assist healthcare organizations with long-term planning, risk analysis, and visibility of information assets. The tools focus on optimizing healthcare processes, reducing risks, and improving complex information management just look like promo. Why are the partnerships relevant?
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed on Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
  • I didn't check

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. If you have a conflict of interest, you must disclose the nature of that COI. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 10:13, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Adil Faouzi. Thank you for your work on Colorado (company). Klbrain, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Quite a large company for its type, operating for more than 60 years. There is a lot of financial information here, and much of the structure is list-like. Some of this might better be presented as a table, allowing for more fluent/engaging prose in the body of the text.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Stockly. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. I note in your edit summary your comment that the template was added by an IP user, but given that you have a COI in the template removal I think that its best left for others to review and (if necessary) remove. Klbrain (talk) 09:33, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose that the 123.231.108.238 was concerned that your account in English is used almost exclusively for creating new pages for companies or business people from disparate industries. Sometimes placing a statement about the theme of your editing on your user page can help to defend against such arguments. Klbrain (talk) 09:38, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Klbrain: Thank you for your message and for bringing this to my attention. I understand your concern, but I want to clarify that I am already an established user on Arabic Wikipedia and recently decided to contribute some articles in English as well.

Indeed, if you check my contributions, you will see that I have a focus on businesses and companies. However, I am not paid to write these articles. I removed the template because it was added by a non-registered user without any substantive arguments, especially considering that my contributions are primarily about businesses. We cannot assume that everyone who writes about a company is paid to do so, particularly given that I am an experienced Wikipedia editor who is familiar with the site's guidelines.

In this case, I believe the best course of action would be to discuss the matter further on the article's talk page. If there are specific concerns about the article's content or sourcing, I would be happy to address them constructively. But simply adding a COI template based on the subject matter of my contributions, without any concrete evidence of an undisclosed paid relationship, seems premature.

I appreciate you reaching out and am committed to following Wikipedia's policies around COI and paid editing. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions on how to proceed. I look forward to working together to resolve this amicably.--Adil Faouzi (talk) 15:09, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your clear statement; having a focus on business content is a very reasonable thing to do; I've removed the template. Klbrain (talk) 15:19, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
