What to do with ex-NYC, E-L, NH railroad stations?

@Epicgenius and DanTD: I think that these stations should be included with an asterisk, or something of the like. Otherwise, individual and duplicative line templates would have to be created. Thanks.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 14:35, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that these should have asterisks. epicgenius (talk) 15:18, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have added some. The issue is not going too far down the rabbit hole–i.e. adding the Putnam Branch, service to the Berkshires, the Lake Mahopac Branch, and local service to Albany (perhaps these could go in separate templates).--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 16:45, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is a Metro-North template. Simple as that. The ones that did not see 1983 need to go.Mitch32(Fame is a four letter word.) 17:20, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Mitchazenia, Epicgenius, and DanTD: We would essentially be denying the existence of these stations by not having them here. Do you want duplicative line templates to be created?--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 19:48, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
We're not denying their existence, but this is a Metro-North template. The adjacent stations modules does just fine. Not to mention, there already is a bunch of NYCRR navboxes for this exact purpose thanks to Cards84664 (talk · contribs). Mitch32(Fame is a four letter word.) 21:24, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Just for the NYC Main Line Hudson Line so far. Cards84664 (talk) 21:37, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Cleveland: The Shaker streetcar Green Line traveled via downtown Cleveland streets, and continued from Coventry and west. (Template:GCRTA stations navbox)
The NYC&HR also ran on the streets south of 42nd. Oppose, since we also have s-line Adjacent stations templates. Cards84664 (talk) 21:37, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
And I can toss together some more navboxes if need be. Cards84664 (talk) 21:38, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
