Update fair and unfair play, fast bowling, first-class cricket, googly, innings, leg break, limited overs cricket, not out, Pakistan Cricket Board, spin bowling, underarm bowling, wicket, and other fundamental articles classified by the WikiProject as high-importance so that they meet WP:Verifiability policy standards

Cleanup

There is a toolserver based WikiProject Cricket cleanup list that automatically updates weekly to show all articles covered by this project which are marked with cleanup tags. (also available in one big list and in CSV format)

Cricket people

Create articles about 19th century players who are listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/19th century players
Create biographies about Bangladeshi players from the task force redlink list
Check the listing of key bios at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/Key biographies and improve these to at least B-class.
Create batting/bowling graphs for cricketers who have excelled in international cricket.
Create articles for redlinks present here and here

Visual editor problem

It seems as if this infobox hates the Visual Editor. The VE apparently works well enough for things like infobox person and produces code that's then possible for others to edit. This box, though, produces stuff like this edit which makes it virtually impossible to update anything by hand.

Discussion about some changes to this infobox

There is a discussion that's been going on for a while at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cricket about some changes that might be made to this infobox - involving the removal of squad numbers, nicknames, balls, medal tamplates and the like. Anyone who watches this might be interested in joining that discussion. It seems likely to me that some changes might be made Blue Square Thing (talk) 12:42, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Need new parameter spouse

The Family parameter stated to only include notable members of family. But a lot of cricketers have married and there wife are not notable one,how to deal with them.e.g. Venkatesh Iyer.

T20 and T20I both columns cannot be displayed together

Why T20 and T20I both columns cannot be displayed together under Career statistics header in cricketer Infobox ? at present, only one can be shown. Which seem to be incorrect. Our presumption here is that T20 is domestic T20 and T20I is international T20.

In case if code considers T20s and T20Is as same, then we must introduce T20D as T20 domestic.

For example: cricketer Abhishek Sharma has just started playing T20 international (no ODI or Test). hence T20-International and domestic T20s both are required to be displayed, but either one can be shown in the infobox.

Number of columns under Career statistics header

Is it possible to have 6 columns instead of 4 under Career statistics header in cricketer Infobox ?
