Component courts, working languages, "division map" heading, and other suggestions

This template makes no adequate provision for a court being composed of component courts, as in the case of the Court of Justice of the European Union, with its component courts, the General Court and the Court of Justice. For the meantime, other editors have used the government agency infobox, and listed the component courts as "child agencies" as a stop-gap. However, given the CJEU's status, it is odd that the court template doesn't seem to be made for it. I would suggest the addition of a "Component court" label, and inversely a "Component of court label". That, or the addition of a "free label" for editors to use as they wish.

I might also suggest that the "division map" heading might have the option of changing the label to "jurisdiction map", or however an editor sees fit.

Finally, a label for "operating languages" might be useful for international/supranational courts. All the best, 103.26.245.230 (talk) 12:49, 3 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Superseded by" heading

This infobox has a "dissolved" heading but in the case that the court was superseded by something else, there's no heading to indicate what it was superseded by like Template:Infobox government agency has. Neckstells (talk) 08:37, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New parameter

Per this discussion (Template_talk:Infobox_organization/Archive_2#Native_name_parameter), any objections to adding the parameter "native_name_lang" ?--Goldsztajn (talk) 02:41, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Supporting British English

Should there be another parameter, similar to authority, where "Authorized by" is replaced with "Authorised by"? It seems to me that this would make the template more consistent with MOS:TIES. For example, in the New South Wales court example given for the template, I believe the spelling with an "s" is more appropriate due to the Australian English spelling. New parameter

I propose adding new parameter 'Active' below the 'Established' parameter to give an opportunity for indicating:

  • when (if the date differs from establishment date) the court begun acting (e.g. Active → since 4 May 1989)

or

  • if the court is active, does perform its duties (if the date of dissolvment is not stated, does not exist).

(I'm not a native English speaker so maybe there is other more apropriate name for the parameter.) — Antoni12345 (talk) 12:01, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replace "Lead position ends" label

Can we agree on a new label instead of "Lead position ends" for the "termend" parameter. It's a weird awkward phrasing that seems like a placeholder. I'd suggest something more clear like "Leadership term ends" or "{{{chiefjudgetitle}}} term ends". -- Asdasdasdff (talk) 23:51, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
