Treaty of Orebro

TREATY of Peace, Union, and Friendship, between His Britannic Majesty and the King of Sweden.—Signed at Orebro the 18th of July, 1812.

And within the treaty spells Orebro, "Orebro" (as does the original French), but within the treaty the name Lawrence Baron d'Engeström is spelled with an ö (as is the original French). Therefore the spelling of Orebro is deliberate and not a mistaken transliteration. -- PBS (talk) 06:55, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

UK, not GB

In 1801, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland was formed.

Every date given on the page is after 1801, therefore, the references to 'Great Britain' and 'Britain' should be removed, and replaced with 'the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland', and 'UK'. The UK was the name of the sovereign nation, not 'Great Britain/Britain'. 87.254.75.148 (talk) 10:56, 12 June 2024 (UTC)
