The slaty-crowned antpitta or slate-crowned antpitta (Grallaricula nana) is a species of bird placed in the family Grallariidae.

It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. Its preferences include relatively dense second-growth forests and stands of bamboo, so it is threatened by deforestation in the Andes.[3] Nests of this species often rely on bamboo twigs.[4]
