Shirdi is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of Maharashtra state in Western India.[1] This is the most important assembly constituency of Maharashtra because of the religious,industrial and geographical reasons. It comes under Shirdi Lok Sabha constituency . Shri Radhakrishna vikhe patil is a 7-time undefeated MLA from Shirdi in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. He has worked under 6 different Chief Ministers since 1995 and has held 12 different portfolios in his career.

Overview

Shirdi (constituency number 218) is one of the twelve Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in the Ahmednagar district. It comprises part of Rahata tehsil and part of the Sangamner tehsil of the district.[2]

Shirdi is part of the Shirdi Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments in this district, namely Akole, Sangamner, Kopargaon, Shrirampur and Nevasa.
