Netcracker Technology Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation, provides IT solutions, products and professional services, including business support system (BSS) and operational support systems (OSS), for communications service providers (CSPs). Headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, Netcracker maintains operations and development facilities worldwide.
History
Founded in 1993, the company provides full-stack business support system (BSS) and operations support system (OSS) solutions to communications service providers. Netcracker has since expanded into cloud-native, microservices-based solutions, virtualization, automation, generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) and digital satellite solutions. In 2008 the company was acquired by NEC Corporation.[1] becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of NEC.[2]
