D.C. should probably either be light blue or medium blue. Also, the dark red should probably be changed to medium red (since we're using a lighter blue color rather than a darker blue color).. --Prcc27 (talk) 21:27, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The dark red is fine as is. When I made the map, I conscientiously decided to keep the exact color scheme as the main map for consistency. The colors should be left as is. Thegreyanomaly (talk) 18:58, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Thegreyanomaly: Could you please add D.C. as light blue? Same-sex marriage in the District of Columbia#Domestic partnerships.
@Prcc27:, You know you can edit the map yourself. Anyways, I have made it light blue, you can revert your reverts. I don't plan on doing much maintenance on this map (meaning everyone else should expect to take control), I just made it to get rid of the PNG map. I'm not familiar with svg maps. --Prcc27 (talk) 20:02, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That is what this is for. Read it, it is very easy to edit svg maps. Thegreyanomaly (talk) 20:44, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
When I open it up on wordpad and notepad I get a bunch of random characters that I don't understand: "IHDR ï ¬Q» bKGD ÿ ÿ ÿ ½§“" --Prcc27 (talk) 21:25, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Then you are not actually downloading an SVG file, you are just downloading a PNG representative. Go here, [1], save the file and then try to open it. Thegreyanomaly (talk) 23:24, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

New Jersey; light blue

New Jersey (and possibly Hawaii) appears to be the wrong shade of blue. Also, limited/enumerated rights doesn't seem appropriate for this map given that it's about unions similar to marriage.
