Annoying judder

Looped GIFs are slightly annoying at the best of times. In this GIF, Mars makes smooth orbits forever, but Earth suddenly judders forward by several months every Mars year (as do all the other inner planets). A short pause at the looping point is warranted. Ideally this video would contain twice as many frames, showing two complete Mars years, and then pause for a few tenths of a second, before repeating. A pause can be added to the existing video by repeating the final or initial frame. Extending the length of the animation loop would need to happen from scratch. — MaxEnt 15:04, 13 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
