Is the scale supposed to represent the actual size of North America? If so, it is in error. It would purport the NYC to San Francisco distance to be about 700km. In fact, that distance is 4675km or 2905 miles. This is misleading or in error. JTM

Indeed, this is an extremely incorrect image. It should be removed from Wikipedia. Lajoswinkler (talk) 23:12, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
