It must have been considerable work to make this map... But I have a problem with it. Accounts of the incident state that the arterial road that crossed Route Irish was curved, so that drivers couldn't really see the roadblock as they rounded the curve, in time for a comfortable stop. The GIs fired warning shots when seven or eight other cars approached the roadblock -- presumably because they too couldn't see the roadblock in time..

Ideally the map should show a scale, and it should show the curve in the road, the position of the roadblocks (there was one for each direction.) and the spot where advancing motorists could first see the roadblock. Geo Swan (talk) 10:45, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
