I know she'll die in Winter, I just want to mention that I nourished her since she was 2 and a half weeks old drifted in late May on my windowsill. I tried to kill her so she first ran off. Then I found her on the balcony. I was stunning flies with a newspaper for days and feeding to her. She grew well, right now she's almost ΒΌ in in size (August 2011) and still well. Those spiders really live long, if it weren't for the Winter colds. If I catch a male T. domestis I'll try to grab it and set it in her web for mating. Of course she'll probably eat him, but it's fun to watch nonetheless.
