| Description |
English: Conceptual model showing how six inter-related forms of invisibility (shown in orange) cause systematic biases which contribute to the health risks (and appreciation of impacts already experienced) from climate change being under-estimated, misunderstood, exacerbated or ignored (red). The underlying causes of these invisibilities (yellow), are the outcomes of context-dependent structures of socio-political inequalities and associated hierarchies. Strategies (blue) are proposed to tackle underlying causes of invisibility and reduce the tensions of being visible. |
