English: The Trypanothione peroxidase system in Trypanosomes. Electrons from NADPH are transferred by Trypanothione reductase onto Trypanothione, then further onto Tryparedoxin and finally by Tryparedoxin peroxidase onto a peroxide (R-OOH), generating an alcohol (R-OH) and water.
