Description
English: St Mary's church - Norman west doorway. For a full view of the church see > 1634138. St Mary's church is redundant and has been in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust since 1976. Its Norman west doorway - it is described by Sir N Pevsner as one of the finest in England - was brought here from All Saints church, demolished in 1787, of which no trace remains > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1634114. The tiny vestry > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1634910 on the north-eastern corner has a window painted onto its exterior wall > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1634912.
