DescriptionPierre Lefaucheux Memorial west of St Dizer at the roadside beside the site of his fatal accident.JPG
Français : In 1955, thanks to a combination of black ice, tiredness and, one suspects, a poorly positioned "Deviation" sign, Pierre Lefaucheux was in an accident in his Renault Fregate which turned over. The killer was his briefcase, unsecured on the back seat, which jumped up and thumped him on the back of the head as or directly after the car rolled over. The road junction has moved maybe 30 meters to the west, but the memorial remains. Someone has even cut the surrounding grass (June 1013)
