Summary

Description
English: fig4: Thin-cap fibroatheroma (TCFA). A fibrous cap (arrows) is identified as a signal-rich homogenous region overlying a lipid core (∗), which is characterized by a signal-poor region. TCFA is defined as a plaque with a fibrous cap measuring <65 μm. OCT-detected TCFAs are often observed in the culprit lesions of acute coronary syndrome.
