Summary
DescriptionLoop Trolley car interior - University City, Missouri (2018).jpg
Interior of a Loop Trolley car in service, while westbound on Delmar Blvd. east of Kingsland Avenue in University City, Missouri (in the St. Louis metropolitan area). This car is one of two streetcars in the Loop Trolley fleet that were originally built for the Portland Vintage Trolley service (in Oregon) and are replicas of 1903 J. G. Brill trolleys. For use on the Loop Trolley, their original rattan-upholstered seating with two seats on each side of the aisle was replaced with wooden-bench seating laid out with two seats on one side of the aisle and a longitudinal bench along the other side. The handles on the corners of the lateral seat backs make the seats reversible — they can face towards either end of the car.
