Summary
DescriptionLeaping onward in the Chugach State Park backcountry, Alaska (5426482971).jpg
This is a high alpine valley, kind of adjacent to the Crow Pass trail. The top of the valley was beautiful (though a little boggy) but once we hit the treeline we found ourselves fighting through a maze of game trails, steep brushy canyons, gray glacial creeks, and dense, tangled brush. We passed dozens of piles of moose and bear scat. It was unnerving and very, very slow going - classic Chugach mountain terrain.
