Lamp on display as part of the "Jazz Age" exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. This lamp is attributed to Paul Kiss (1885-1962), a Hungarian-born metalsmith who worked and lived in Paris. Kiss is generally regarded as the greatest French master of Art Deco metalwork after Edgar Brandt. Made about 1930 of wrought iron, brass, and glass, this lamp reflects the Viennese tradition of Art Nouveau, with its emphasis on the curving lines of plants and flowers. It is unclear who manufactured the weeping willow-like glass lampshade.
