Summary

Description
English: A lamb is having the hair around its tail and breech removed by a cryogenic process that destroys the growth cells in wool follicles. This is done to prevent maggot infestation (also called flystrike or breechstrike) by the Australian sheep blowfly. The process was invented by John Steinfort, an Australian veterinarian.
