Summary

Description Geumsansa Ocheung Seoktap (Five storied stone pagoda of Geumsansa Temple). This is the stone pagoda located on the top of Songdae, a tall pedestal at the north of Geumsansa Temple. The base of pagoda finial, which looks like a roof stone, is designed to support the decoration at the top of the pagoda and gives the pagoda more distinct appearance, distinguishing it from other pagodas. The square supporting the ornamental top portion is remarkably large. National Treasure #25.
