Summary
DescriptionKili Island 2011-07-09, EO-1 ALI bands 5-4-2-1.png
English: Composite "true color" multispectral satellite image of Kili Island, Marshall Islands. NASA EO-1 ALI bands used were 5 (red), 4 (green) and 2 (blue), and the image was pan-sharpened to 10m resolution. Imagery courtesy of NASA/USGS.
As of 2012-09-21 this is the highest resolution image of Kili Island I am aware of; higher resolution than Google or Bing Maps. As it is freely available NASA imagery it is also unencumbered.
NOTE: Due to atmospheric conditions, the visible bands are somewhat desaturated in this image and gray. I would recommend using the natural-toned false color IR image I have simultaneously uploaded.
The NASA website hosts a large number of images from the Soviet/Russian space agency, and other non-American space agencies. These are not necessarily in the public domain.
