English: Record of the birth of Josef Václav Radecký of Radeč (1766–1858), a Bohemian nobleman, a famous commander of the Austrian army, a native of Třebnice, whose name is to be heard in the title of Johann Strauss Sr.’s popular march Op. 228 (also called Radetzky-Marsch).(State Regional Archives in Prague, Collection of registers and related documents, Central Bohemian Region, sign. Dublovice-řk 3.)
Čeština: Matriční záznam o narození Josefa Václava Radeckého z Radče (1766–1858), českého šlechtice, politika a vojenského reformátora, který se vyznamenal v bojích proti Napoleonovi (bitvy u Chlumu, Lipska a La Rothière). V roce 1831 se stal velitelem rakouských sil v severní Itálii a o pětlet později obdržel hodnost rakouského polního maršálka. Po vítězství nad piemontským králem Karlem Albertem (1849), kterým zajistil obnovení moci Habsburků v severní Itálii, byl jmenován generálním guvernérem Království lombardsko-benátského. Hudební skladatel Johann Strauss st. mu věnoval pochod – Op. 228 – zvaný Radetzky Marsch.(SOA v Praze, Sbírka matrik a průvodní listinný materiál, Středočeský kraj, sign. Dublovice-řk 3.) |
