Chief of Naval Personnel Vice Adm. John C. Harvey Jr. threw out the ceremonial first pitch of the game, kicking off Cleveland Navy Week, which runs Aug. 28-Sep. 4. Twenty-six such weeks are planned this year in cities throughout the U.S., arranged by the Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO) to enhance Navy awareness in communities with limited Navy exposure.
