Note: map may contain errors of topographic, geopolitical, data obsolescence nature or other.

  • This map is an approximate representation of 2014's World Bank nominal income data (calculated using the World Bank Atlas method)
  • File name being '2014-2016' is because of the usage of the fiscal year in financial contexts: although World Bank economic indicators refer to the calendar year (2014), in fact it is referred to by the following fiscal year which comprises the 2nd half of the next and the 1st half of the "next after the next" calendar years (2015-2016)
  • Income data by World Bank is effective from mid-year (1 July) thus effective from 1 July 2015
  • Very small territories may not depicted due to their size or picture resolution
  • Disputed territories between states may be included in the statistics of either the sovereign state(s) administrating them, or of those claiming sovereignty

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Income groups 2014-2016 by GNI per capita.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
