Thecorners exhibit the archaic dragon scroll with conventionalizedI floral forms, the smaller medallions flowers, foliations and angular scrolls surrounding a Shoti character, and the larger medallion1/0 ^l^C conventional flower foinis and scrolHng foliations interwoven with ^ A the archaic dragon scroll. All decoration in orange-yellow, pale anary, fawn color, white, various browns, and blue so deep thatit appears almost a black. The blue of the field is an unusualone in carpets—of cobalt quality but in a rare hue. The numer-ous borders include a black swastika-fret on white, a meanderand a broad band of foliations.
