Deutsch: Südwestansicht der Burg Güssing in der burgenländischen Bezirkshauptstadt Güssing. Eine auf einem weithin sichtbar steilen Kegel vulkanischen Ursprungs Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts errichtete Burg und damit älteste Burg Burgenlands. Im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert erfolgte der Ausbau zu einer Festung. Wegen der "Dachsteuer" gab man sie im 18. Jahrhundert dem Verfall preis. Seit 1957 wird eine Bestandssicherung betrieben und 1969 wurde das neue Burgmuseum eröffnet.
