Deutsch: Der französische General Barthélemy-Catherine Joubert (1769 - 1799) in den 1790er Jahren, als er vor einer zerstörten Kanone steht, hinter der sich seine Männer verschanzt haben und mit ihren Waffen feuern. Der Stich basiert auf einem Gemälde von François Bouchot aus den 1820er Jahren.
English: The French General Barthélemy Catherine Joubert (1769 - 1799) in the 1790s, as he stands in front of a destroyed cannon, behind which his men were entrenched and firing their guns. The engraving is based on an 1820s painting by François Bouchot.
Français : Le French General Catherine Barthélemy Joubert (1769 - 1799) dans les années 1790, comme il se tient devant un canon détruit, derrière laquelle ses hommes étaient retranchés et tirant leurs armes. La gravure est basée sur une peinture des années 1820 de François Bouchot.
