Summary

Description

Restoration of Falcarius utahensins, based on images of skeletons.[1] Falcarius is a member of therizinosauria (Dinosauria, Theropoda, Coelurosauria) from the Early Cretaceous of Utah (USA). It have often been hailed as a "missing link" between the herbivorous therizinosaurs of the Late Cretaceous and their carnivorous ancestors, as it possess more features in common with theropod dinosaurs in general than Late Createous therizinosaurids do.
