Description
English: Painting, handscroll, pair with Jap.Ptg.Add.171. Scenes of life in the Dutch factory (residential area, sometimes called bankan) on Dejima island in Nagasaki, showing animals, figures and musicians. Ink and colour on silk. Inscribed. Producer: Watanabe Shuseki (渡辺秀石). Edo period, late 18th century. Note: this is a part of the full handscroll.
