Summary

Description
English: Delta-9-THC and HHC follow parallel metabolic pathways. In primary metabolism, these cannabinoids are oxidized by cytochrome P450 enzymes, which install one of several oxygenated functional groups at various positions along the carbon skeleton. Some sources have identified HHC as a THC metabolite, however discrepancies in literature citations call this into question.
