Description

ID#: 4168 Description: This photomicrograph shows conidia and conidiophores of the fungus Acremonium falciforme.

Members of the genus Acremonium are filamentous fungi commonly isolated from plant debris and soil. Acremonium spp. are causative agents of eumycotic “white grain” mycetoma.
