O Brasão de Armas da Cidade de Lima Duarte foi projetado por Alexandre Miranda Delgado, baseado em pesquisas históricas e às indicações de Heráldica Portuguesa e executado pelo heraldista e desenhista Professor Alberto Lima, chefe do Gabinete Fotocartográfico do Ministério da Guerra e autor de grandes numero de brasões municipais.
