DescriptionBattle of Cove Mountain v2.png
English: This shows the approximate positions of troops at the Battle of Cove Mountain in the American Civil War, although they moved around--especially the 34th OVMI. Positioning is based on a New York Times article from May 22, 1864; the book History of the Second Regiment, West Virginia Cavalry Volunteers; Averell's OR, and the book 13th Kentucky Cavalry, CSA: "Caudill's Army".
