Deutsch: Orgel der Stadtpfarrkirche St. Stephan in der niederösterreichischen Stadtgemeinde Baden. Die Orgel fertigte ursprünglich der Orgelbauer Johann Hencke 1744 für die Kirche des Chorherrenstiftes St. Dorothea in Wien. Nach der Klosterauflösung 1786 wurde die Orgel 1787 nach Baden übertragen. Das prachtvolle Schnitzwerk mit seinen Engelsstatuen stammt vom Wiener Bildhauer Ignaz Gunst. 1987 wurde in das bestehende Gehäuse von der Orgelbaufirma Gerhard Hradetzky eine neue Orgel eingebaut. Die Orgel verfügt über 28 Register, verteilt auf zwei Manuale und Pedal. Von der ursprünglichen Hencke-Orgel ist noch der Prospekt mit den Prinzipalpfeifen und ein Manual erhalten. |
